Last month I received a gift. A friend of mine, Mike Jais, gave me 500 bumper stickers with our logo on them.
To me they are precious. Here’s why…
Last post I showed you my living room and the words I painted on the walls of my home. I told you about what it’s like to wake up every morning and be reminded of how highly people think of me. It makes going out into the world easier…especially on days when I’d rather stay on the couch.
A tip on receiving more gifts in life: ONE: Tell people what you like, and ask for what you want. TWO: Truly and genuinely thank people for giving you what you asked for…over and over and over again.
At this point I’ve stuck 4 bumper stickers on important things. On my car, my guitar case, my front door, and my computer’s hard drive.
The stickers are reminders. Each time you see your sticker, it helps you to remember who you are, what you are up to, and how much genius you have in you. The sticker reminds you to take one more step towards that BIG GOAL.
So stick it. Stick it in a place you’ll see it at least 4 times a day. And SEND ME A PICTURE of you and your sticker. I'm writing a new book, and want your face in the book.... Send the pics it to jessicakizorek@gmail.com
(If you don’t have a free sticker, here are instructions on how to get one: http://badassbusinesswomen.blogspot.com/2010/07/want-free-bumper-sticker.html)
